Chris Hilmes with Emerald Edge Lawns is a Clinton County native who has been in the lawn care industry for 25 years.  He has helped maintain turf at nationally rated golf courses, the Tampa Bay Rays stadium, the Springfield Cardinals field, and the St. Louis Rams practice field.  Chris served as the Vice President of the Sports Turf Management Association, was a national speaker at a Sports Turf Management Conference, and has lectured at annual regional conferences. He is a hard worker and is deeply knowledgeable about high level grass management.

Chris is married to Tara Snow Hilmes and has 2 children.  Chris' oldest son is looking forward to becoming a Mater Dei Knight in 2021. You may remember Chris’ wife Tara from her time as a radio personality at WCXO.  In their free time, Chris and his family enjoy participating in shows at the Clinton County Showcase. 

Emerald Edge Lawns is a small, local company and Chris plans to keep it that way.  His number one priority is to maintain the customer service and care for your lawn that you have come to expect and that you deserve.
